Thiocol sealants based on liquid polysulfide polymers are characterized by good deformability, high oil and gas resistance, good resistance to UV radiation, oxygen exposure, moisture and air tightness. Sealants are recommended when used in contact with aluminum alloys, non-anodized, magnesium alloys, cadmium-plated and unprotected steel. Sealants are three-component compositions consisting of basic (sealing), curing (vulcanizing) pastes and a vulcanization accelerator. Designed for surface and intra-seam sealing of riveted, welded and bolted joints, aircraft structures, instruments and other products, for the repair of aviation equipment.
