Sodium-butadiene rubbers are a product of polymerization of butylene-isobutylene butadiene fractions in the presence of metallic sodium. They are non-toxic, non-explosive, and do not spontaneously ignite. SKB rubbers and rubber products are characterized by resistance to thermal aging and to repeated deformations. They have good filling capacity, are easily mixed with other ingredients in mixtures, and have high processing properties.
