Thiocols (liquid polysulfide polymers) are sulfur-containing reactive oligomers with active end groups that cure in compositions with various fillers. Viscous homogeneous liquid of dark color with a greenish or brownish tinge without foreign inclusions and a specific odor inherent in mercaptans. Polysulfide polymers are resistant to the action of oils, petroleum fuels, acids, alkalis, ozone, sunlight, radiation, have high gas tightness, are non-explosive, difficult to ignite, non-toxic. Designed for the manufacture of sealing pastes, which are used in the aviation industry, shipbuilding, electrical industry, radio electronics and civil engineering.
